We couldn’t be happier for our amazing client, Swoop, who won £5million in funding from RBS last week. We know how hard they’ve worked to develop their platform and this award will allow them to support many more SME’s when it comes to tackling the future funding landscape.
Swoop, simplifies and speeds up your access to loans, grants and equity funding for businesses in the UK and Ireland. They are one of five FinTech start-ups to be awarded a combined £25 million in grants under the latest round of the RBS banking competition remedies scheme. With this award they will boost their expansion and strengthen their position enabling them to support more SME’s sooner.
Co-founder of Swoop, Ciaran says: “The funding award will allow us to help those who we at Swoop care most about – those at the heart of business communities across economies such as sole traders, micro, small and medium businesses. We make it easy for them to understand their financial position, their spending habits and subsequently easily access loans, grants, investment, savings and services bespoke to their needs.”
